Finding Dead Birds on the Complex -
With all the controversy surrounding the Bird Flu, it is only
responsible to inform members of what to do if they discover a
dead bird(s) on their lotty or elsewhere on the complex.
First and foremost - do not touch them. Contact the A.I.D. (See
phone number below).
The more suseptable birds, or the so-called "High-Risk Birds" are
the swan, heron, goose, duck, sea gull and birds of prey.
If you find dead sparrows, titmice or robins you can let them lie
or get rid of them by burying them or placeing them in the
rubbish bin.
Call the Algemene Inspectiedienst ( Public Inspection Service) -

045-5466230

You should not touch any of the dead birds with your bare
hands, but if you did, for whatever reason, contact your doctor
and he/she will discuss with the GGD and determine what the
next step should be.
